Our Stories

A.Spire by Nature was created by David Greenfield and Trevor Dunn who are two of the founding partners in the Sea to Sky Gondola, one of Canada's most acclaimed and successful new tourism attractions. David and Trevor have successfully created comprehensive development and operations plans for many projects ranging from resort communities, hotel developments, urban renewal projects, independent school facilities and nature-based tourism attractions.

David Greenfield

Prior to A.Spire by Nature, David was the Executive Vice President with Intrawest Placemaking – one of the world’s leading experts in resort village creation. He was responsible for all of the division’s real estate development activity in Western North America, including Mexico, Hawaii, and the Pacific Rim.

David began with Intrawest Corporation in 1987. He was one of the original resort development employees for the company and was instrumental in helping Whistler Blackcomb to become one of the most celebrated mountain resorts in the world. David was also directly responsible for planning, revitalizing and creating the resort village and real estate development at Mont Tremblant, Quebec. This resort rapidly became one of the most successful new resorts in North America and continues to be one of the top travel destinations in Quebec.

David has a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Alberta and a Master’s of Science degree in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia. He lives in Whistler, BC.

Trevor Dunn

Prior to A.Spire by Nature, Trevor served as the initial General Manager of the Sea to Sky Gondola during its first year of operation and is currently serving as the Managing Partner.

Trevor worked with Intrawest from 2001 to 2008, as Vice President of Development. He was responsible for delivering the Westin Imagine Orlando, a $130-Million, 315-room condominium hotel. In his development role, he was also responsible for $50 million dollars of asset divestitures that included commercial assets, land, and business entities.

Trevor Dunn has an Applied Science degree in Engineering from the University of British Columbia and is active with the Canadian Cancer Foundation. He lives in North Vancouver with his wife Emily and children, Riley Josie and Oliver. When he is not trying to keep up with them, he enjoys running, surfing and exploring.

Lucrea

David and Trevor have joined together with Lucrea to help establish A.Spire By Nature. Lucrea is a joint venture between Groupe Lune Rouge and Crave Real Estate based out of Montreal Quebec. Groupe Lune Rouge, is an investment company founded by Guy Laliberté in 2015. Crave Real Estate is a real estate investment, management, and development planning firm based in Montreal, Canada. The partners of Lucrea have extensive experience in owning, developing and operating world class tourism projects.
